Help us expose the reality of race-based policy in New Zealand
The government promised change. They promised to end co-governance and remove race-based policies. But it’s still happening, just under different names.
From “Water Services Delivery Plans” that quietly revive Three Waters, to “Partnership Committees” that embed iwi oversight into public infrastructure, to university degrees and professional bodies saturated with Treaty ideology, the system hasn’t changed. It has adapted.
Right now, Hobson’s Pledge is undertaking an ambitious research project: A centralised, public-facing website documenting every instance of race-based policy, Treaty ideology, and co-governance across New Zealand.
But here’s the problem: We don’t have the resources to do it properly... yet.
The Plan
We already have a talented researcher working part-time and he’s delivering results.
We want to:
-
Bring him on full time
-
Expand the research effort
-
Build a dedicated website to publish and track every example
-
Use this evidence to drive media coverage, political pressure, and legislative change
This work doesn’t happen without support. We can’t build this website, scale the research, and hold the government to account…
…without people like you backing it.
Chip in today to our Research Fund today
Every dollar goes toward expanding the research effort, building the public website, and strengthening our advocacy ahead of the election.
Make a donation today and help us expose the truth
Because if we don’t document it, challenge it, and fight it, no one else will.
